WHAT IS BIZSAFE FOR A COMPANY ?

bizSAFE is a locally (Singapore) recognised capability building programme designed to help companies build workplace safety and health capabilities. The programme includes SGSecure elements to help companies to put in place measures to manage potential terror threats that are risking concern.

HOW DO I GET A BIZSAFE CERTIFICATE ?
To achieve bizSAFE STAR status, your company must obtain ISO45001 Certification issued by accredited certification bodies or equivalent certification accompanied by a RM Implementation Audit Report by MOM-SAC Approved WSH Auditor.

IS BIZSAFE MANDATORY
bizSAFE certification is not a mandatory but it meets the risk management legal requirement. Companies are strongly encouraged to participate in bizSAFE. In the process of attaining bizSAFE certification, companies will also benefit by acquiring WSH capabilities and be able to implement a Risk Management System or WSH Management System together with project tendering advantages.

WHAT IS BIZSAFE LEVEL1 ?
bizSAFE Level 1 – Workshop for CEO / Top Management – Webinar/E-learning Course, it defines the safety direction and visions of the company by drafting safety policy . bizSAFE is a five-step programme to assist SME’s to build up their WSH capabilities in order to achieve quantum improvements in safety and health standards at the workplace.

HOW DO I RENEW MY BIZSAFE CERTIFICATE ?

If your bizSAFE certificate has expired, you can either renew or upgrade your certification online at the WSH Council. BizSAFE Level 1 & 2 certificate is a competency course require for bizSAFE3 certification. If your certificate has expired, you can renew or upgrade on to the next level.

WHAT IS BIZSAFE PARTNER ?

BizSAFE Partner refers to a company or organisation that supports the WSHC programme by providing business advantages to motivate SMEs to join bizSAFE and improve workplace safety and health. These include larger companies that are engaging SMEs as contractors or subcontractors.

HOW DO I RENEW MY BIZSAFE LEVEL 4 ?

Submit bizSAFE level 4 renewal application online and attach the relevant “bizSAFE1 Workshop for CEO / Top Management” certificate of attendance, valid Risk Management Implementation audit report and bizSAFE Level 4 course certificate of attendance to WSHC for approval.
